Engraved in our workshop in South Wales, our 6mm thick Welsh slate board comes with thick hemp rope to hang anywhere in your home and is also packaged in a beautiful gift box.

Each Welsh slate chalkboard is hand-cut to give a naturally rustic, chipped edge.

To remove chalk, just wipe with a damp cloth. If slate becomes marked or faded, use the soft side of a sponge to wipe slate with a food-safe oil (eg. Olive oil, sunflower oil, etc).

Please note that as slate is a natural product it may contain fool's gold, which is natural pyrite that forms within the slate. It is not a defect and we cannot guarantee that your slate item will not contain it.
