What will you serve in this elegant vintage influenced mini ceramic jug from Alice Funge. Milk, cream or perhaps your favourite sauce. This mini jug is so versatile and is beautiful on its own or displayed with some wildflowers or decorative twigs. We love how there is no handle making it space-saving and streamlined.
This handmade collection from Alice Funge is exceptional. Her designs are so unique and thoughtful with the inclusion of her late grandmother’s writing within the designs of this collection. This practical mini jug reads ‘Pour’. These pieces bring warmth to many of us with memories of our own family history.
This wheel-thrown ceramic milk jug is made from white stoneware which is an off-cream colour. It is then finished with poured blue coloured slip. The style and shape of this piece will compliment any interior home style.
- Wheel-thrown kitchenware, handmade from white stoneware.
- Handmade in Warwickshire.
- Due to items being handmade, sizing and decoration may vary slightly between each piece.
Handmade in Warwickshire, Alice Funge has created functional ceramic kitchenware which is decorated with poured coloured slips that imitate the marks the ingredients make within each object. She adds words and recipes to the inside rims of mixing bowls and the outside of other pieces including measuring jugs and lidded jars. All the recipes are handwritten by Alice's late grandmother which gives a narrative to her work and has become an inspiring story to which many can relate; with most people having old recipes passed down between generations. Ever since she had the idea to produce a range of kitchenware she wanted to add something special to it - her late grandmother’s own handwritten recipes seemed a perfect idea, adding a personal touch to an already unique, handmade collection.
Food safe and dishwasher safe, although hand washing is recommended.
