As you know, for retail Christmas is one of the busiest times of the year. This also includes after Christmas with Boxing Day & New Year’s Day sales. However, at Slate House things are a little different as our employee wellbeing is also our top priority.

South Wales retail company Slate House are setting a valuable example to their peers by making sure their entire workforce gets to spend the Christmas holiday period with their families, friends and loved ones.
All Slate House stores and offices will be closed over Christmas and New Year to ensure that their staff get the time off that they deserve.
Director & Owner of Slate House Kevin Thomas said “This time of year is extremely busy for retail companies and our team is working tirelessly through this period. After their hard-work and dedication in the run up to Christmas it seems counterproductive to make them come back in on Boxing Day. Not only will our team get to spend the holiday period with their loved ones but it’s also a time for them to switch off and recuperate as their wellbeing is our priority”.

Our customer service department and workshop close at 4pm on the 22nd December 2021 and will reopen at 10am on 4th January 2022.
