During her Easter 2017 weekend break, whist venturing along the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline, our Swansea team member Chloe made an unexpected visit to our supplier Melin Tregwynt.
Situated between St Davids and Fishguard and surrounded by beautiful Welsh countryside, it proved to be a wonderful day out, and really interesting for us to see where some of our products are made.
So, to kick off our Meet the Maker series, Chloe decided to pay another visit; to see the looms in action and find out what beautiful Welsh woollen goodies they have to offer!
Over the past 5 years, a huge £30 million project has been underway to refurbish St Fagans Museum of History, Wales’ most popular heritage site. The 14th July 2017 has marked the next step of this monumental redevelopment- the opening of the brand new main building and shop.
Some of you may know that Valley Mill supplies Welsh slate, soy wax candles and natural soaps to over 100 stores up and down the UK, and we are really pleased to add St Fagans to that list. You can now find a range of our Soy Wax candles in the museum’s brand new shop; so we decided to go the opening of the new shop and have a look around.
You may have seen that over the past couple of months that we have been busy perfecting our soy wax candles; making sure they are the best that they possible can be. If you follow us on our social media pages, you will have seen our brand new candle labels which, as a team, we put a lot of time and effort.
